Alvaro is a data scientist and machine learning researcher based in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. He is currently a PhD candidate at TU/e working with Robert Peharz and Cassio de Campos. He is particularly interested in (tractable) deep generative models and their applications to other fields of machine learning, with a focus on uncertainty estimation and robustness.
